eBooks

Remember to try an eBook! Teachers, they work GREAT with your Smart Boards. We recently combined our eBook catalog with the elementary collections. The elementary eBooks might provide a good lesson opener, unit introduction, or fun "brain break." There are also some titles in Spanish. If our students see YOU modeling eBooks, they will be more likely to try one also!

Remember, eBooks are linked from the library webpage. Just click on "Follett eBooks" in the middle of the page. Teachers log in with their last name, first initial and whatever 6-digit password they selected. Students use their lunch number for username and password. Let me know if you need additional help!

Monthly Book Trailer

This month's pick is the Lone Star book Planet Tad by Tim Carvell. Twelve-year-old Tad has a plan to make 7th grade his most awesome year, but he must overcome a series of obstacles! Told in blog entries with humorous illustrations, this book is a great recommendation for fans of the Wimpy Kid and Big Nate series.
