Prairie Planting Day!
We are looking forward to our Prairie Planting Day as part of our outdoor education program. Weather permitting, it will happen on Wednesday, Sept. 25th. Volunteers are needed to help the Kindergarten through Second Graders collect and scatter seeds in the prairie area. We also need volunteers to help the third and fourth graders plant small plants. Volunteers can sign-up for a one-hour class, a half-day, or full-day. Contact your child's teacher to let us know if you can be a part of this experience with our kids!

Physical Education:
During the first couple weeks of school, students learned how Dolphins SWIM to success in gym class. SWIM stands for stay safe, work hard, include everyone, and make responsible choices. The learning target is: students will be able to work safely with peers and equipment in physical activity settings.
Students had fun by playing Hottest Game of Tag in the Southwest, Sharks and Minnows, Stepping Stone (teambuilding game), and GaGa Ball. Since the gym wasn't opened yet, teachers and students were very flexible with gym class being outside, inside the commons, and even their classrooms.
The two winners from the Summer Bingo Cards drawing are: Savannah A. (Kindergarten) and Parker R. (4th Grade). Both of them received a Sky Zone Pass for 90 minutes of trampoline jumping.
The next wellness activity is a GaGa Ball Tournament at Friess Lake on September 18th at 6 p.m. A parent or guardian must be present and are encouraged to participate in this fun and highly addictive game.
