Welcome Back and Happy New Year!

Welcome back from winter break and to 2021! We really missed our scholars and we are happy to see you again even if it is only virtually.

We want to acknowledge the appalling and upsetting events that have taking place at our nations capital this week. Please know that we are here to support you. If you need to speak with your counselor, there are directions for how to do that on the main Canvas page.

We have about 3 weeks left in Quarter 2 which will mark the end of first semester. Please make sure you are checking your grades and that you have no missing assignments.

A great way to stay connected to your classes is by turning your cameras on. The data shows that students who keep their cameras on during class have higher rates of passing than those that do not. If you cannot turn your camera on, we understand. Just make sure you are staying engaged, turning in all of your work and are engaging in the chat and speaking up in class. Staying engaged is key and your teachers want to hear from you.

Have a great weekend and remember the words of a former Gator, Dom Cooks-

"It is and always is a great day to be a Gator! Yitadee!!!"

"I" Contracts

If you have an I Contract (an incomplete grade contract), please make sure that get the work completed and submitted to your teacher so your grade can be updated.

High School and Beyond Plan

This is a brief reminder that High School and Beyond Plans (HSBP) are due for seniors February 26th. The HSBP is completed in Maia Learning. Seniors, please make sure you are making progress to get that done by the deadline. Remember, the HSBP is a graduation requirement.

Seniors, you will be presenting your completed HSBP at your spring SLC.

Yearbook Updates and Senior Portraits!

Hey Gators, please make sure you are checking the announcements in Canvas about Yearbook and pictures. There are important deadlines you need to meet in order for your pictures to be included in the Yearbook.

Email messages have also been sent directly to families from the district office. Please double-check those emails because there are deadlines that are coming up soon.
