What is your goal for your students when they leave your school district?
Does your technology implementation support that goal?
Technology Policies
Questions you need to have answered before you move forward with an instructional technology plan:
1. Does your district's bandwidth have the capacity to support your students?
2. Do you have a guest network enabled?
3. Do you have filters and firewalls set up? How strong are they? How secure are they? Do your teachers know the process to have a website cleared through your technology department?
Social Media
Are you a part of the conversation?
1. Google your school- what is out there?
2. Google other schools- similarities/differences?
