2020-2021 Class Lists
It’s hard to believe spring is already here, and we’re beginning to make plans for next year’s schedule, activities and classes. Every spring a significant amount of time is spent placing our students in what we feel will be the most appropriate classrooms. Many factors are considered. These include academic needs, gender, behavioral accommodations, learning styles and significant needs. The teaching style is also a consideration. These lists are reviewed with the principal, counselor and specialists.
Please consider that you place our staff in an awkward position when you ask them to recommend or provide information on a coworker. More constructively, ask them to share their professional opinion about the learning environment your child does best in, and trust they will place the child in that environment.
The professionals working with your children make excellent decisions about class placement that work out quite well, if we let it happen. I am going to trust my classroom teachers, and ask you trust them as well. Decisions are never made by one individual, but by a team.
If for some reason you feel your child has some specific issues we need to consider, we certainly welcome your input. Please click the link below to provide your input. The deadline for input is 4:00 pm, April 30th, 2020.
