PARTY DAY PROCEDURES
Due to the large number of visitors and for safety reasons, we ask that you please follow the procedures outlined below:
∙ Class Parties that are 8:00-8:30am (adults and students may enter the building at 7:25 and go to the café or gym until the 7:40 bell rings)
∙ ALL adults who enter the building will need to check in since you will be in the building after the bell rings
- if you have a School Safe ID visitor pass on your phone, you are welcome to enter north or south doors and show the pass to staff members at each door to receive your visitor sticker
- if you do not have this pass on your phone, you will need to enter the front doors and check in at the office- please bring your photo id
∙ An announcement will be made at 8:30 to ask all visitors and volunteers to make their way out of the building– students will remain in the classrooms to continue with their day
∙ ALL visitors please exit through the front, south or north side doors
When parking on the side streets, please be respectful of our neighbor’s driveways and property. It will be best to park in an empty space in one of our parking lots. Please DO NOT park in the front oval along the curb- we will need to leave this open for bus and daycare arrival.
Thank you for helping keep our students safe and for being patient with us on this
fun filled day.

NED Presentation at Primary
We had a great school-wide assembly called NED’s Mindset Mission on Thursday. This assembly and the teaching materials were provided to us free of charge because of a school who "paid it forward". They held an assembly and for several days after the assembly, they sold yo-yo's and those proceeds are paying for our assembly.
In order to "pay it forward" for another school, yo-yo sales will be held each morning from 7:30 - 7:50am during the week of October 28-November 1 at TRUMAN ELEMENTARY. We will not have any yo-yo's available at Truman Primary.
Mrs. Price, our school counselor, uses the NED curriculum with our students and our students know: "NED" Never give up, Encourage others and Do your best. This assembly focused on the mindset of "yet".
