Nature & Art Explorers Luncheon

Sunday, October 14, 1:00pm

support children's connection to nature and art

Join us for a very special afternoon in the spectacular, green-built Cedar River Watershed Education Center to celebrate and support our Nature and Art Explorer Program at Shadow Lake Elementary School. We will be given a private tour of the facility, including the rain drums in the forest courtyard, learning about the watershed, conservation and local history with a wonderful luncheon featuring Northwest specialties prepared by Chef Rachel Gerberding.
Nature and Art Explorers is a free, after school program designed to provide active, outdoor learning experiences that enhance the Tahoma School District's science, social studies and art curriculum while fostering environmental, cultural and community stewardship. This unique program is solely supported by the generosity of community members such as you.
