Flipsnack

Create Beautiful Flip Books From PDF Documents

What is flipsnack?

Flipsnack is an online Web 2.0 tool that can be used to share student work in a beautifully created flip book. Once work has been created, students must save the work as a pdf. Documents can then be loaded into flipsnack by either dragging and dropping files or browsing for them on the computer
After the content has been converted, you click next, and choose a template for your flip book. Flipsnacks can be customized by how they are displayed, what the background looks like, etc, in the settings portion. Once the flipsnack is completed, all students have to do is click finish, and a link is provided to a beautifully made flipsnack

Examples in RRISD

U.S. History students were asked to create a reform newspaper using Microsoft Publisher. Student research seven reform movements that faced the U.S. during the mid to late 1800's and then created a newspaper in publisher over each of the reforms. Once the newspaper was completed in publisher, students uploaded it to flipsnack to save paper and to share with others.
