Ice Breaker
Let it Roll
Materials: 2 large foam die
Directions:
1.Form groups of 6-8 students
2.Each person takes a turn rolling the die
3.Based on the number rolled, the student will share his/her response to one of the questions below:
1. What is your favorite color? Why?
2. What are your plans for the weekend? summer? after graduation?
3. If you were to win the lottery, what would you do with the money?
4. What is your number one pet peeve?
5. If you could invite a famous person to dinner, who would it be and why?
6. What is your dream vacation spot?

Put a Little Effort into It
Team EFFORT: The qualities of a good Student Council Leader
E- Enthusiasm
F- Fairness
F- Friendliness
O- Optimism
R- Reliable
T- Trustworthy
Split the group into 6 equal groups. Each group will pick a letter at random and will act out that letter. The rest of the students will try guest what the “characteristic” (according to the letter) of a good leader.
1. Guess the characteristic
2. Explain why that word is important
3. Do a little game/activity to “practice” the characteristic
4. Go to the next one
