Centers
Enrichment Centers:
- Topic Study: Students are busy taking notes. Each student started a Padlet to take notes online. This "pad" can be accessed at school and home. Students did a great job taking notes on their topic. Everyone is so focused! Students are beginning to think about an essential question to drive their research.
- Math: We continue to solve problems.
- Science: Today we conducted our second science experiment. Today's testable question: Will a brand name paper towel or a generic brand name paper towel absorb more water? Students wrote a hypothesis, conducted the experiment, recorded results in a data table, averaged the 3 trials and wrote conclusions. Next week we will answer follow up questions and graph results. We did all our work through Google Classroom - ask your child about this!
