ONE stop for support.
Elk Island Catholic Schools has created a one-stop page of Alberta Health Services, Government aid, and community resources that may assist you and your family during this unprecedented time. Please contact your Family Wellness Worker, Danielle Bussiere, at email@example.com, for further assistance in accessing any resources or for additional mental health support.
School Fees REFUND and CREDIT NOTES
After accounting for expenses, any school fee balances remaining have been credited back to your student’s account. Depending on your original payment balance, this adjustment has either left your account with a refund of prepaid fees or a balance owing. If your statement has an amount owing, please make prompt payment online through the Parent Portal.
Accounts that have resulted in a credit balance will automatically be applied to any previous outstanding balance then will be left as a credit on account for next year’s fees.
If you have a credit balance of $100 or greater and have no school resources and would prefer a cheque refund sent to you, please contact Mrs. Roberts firstname.lastname@example.org .
If your student has resources outstanding, no cheque refunds will be given until they have been returned at the end of the school year. (i.e. library books, textbooks and Chromebooks). Resources are to be returned once classes have been completed and when it is safe to do so. We are targeting June 19th, as return date. The process for this has not yet been determined and more information will be provided.
If you have questions in relation to the above, please contact the school.

ASCA has been working with the Education Ministry on school re-entry planning for K-12 students in the 2020-21 school year.
Points in consideration for three possible scenarios to ensure the health and safety of students and staff remain a priority requires input from the education community.
ASCA needs to hear from parents on member school councils in regard to school re-entry planning, elements for consideration and/or areas of concern in local school communities.
