Teacher Appreciation Week

We are honored to celebrate our wonderful Rocky Creek teachers this week. They are an invaluable part of make Rocky Creek such a special place to learn and grow. Their tireless dedication to helping our Rangers achieve all they can and be their best selves is something for which we are all thankful. If you utilize social media, be sure to use #ThankRCETeachers to share with others what makes our teachers so amazing.

We need help keeping our parking lot safe for our children!

We have had few close calls recently in our parking lot that thankfully didn't result in an accident. We want to keep our children safe; therefore, we will enforce this parking lot procedure as best we can as it is outlined in our handbook. Children should not be dropped off in our parking lot in the mornings. If you choose not to use the drop off lane in front of the school, please park your car and walk your child across the crosswalk. Additionally, please do not pull into one of the handicap parking spaces unless you have a handicap parking permit.

If you are reading this and are not the one who brings your child to school, please share this safety procedure with the driver who brings your child to school. We appreciate your cooperation with this as we always make safety our prority at Rocky Creek!

State Testing Week: SC READY and SC PASS

Students in grades 4 and 5 will continue to take SC READY and South Carolina Palmetto Assessment of State Standards (SCPASS) in science and social studies this week. It is very important for your students to be at school and on time because all test sessions are mandatory. Students who are absent or tardy on test days will have to make up the tests at a later date. As your child prepares to take SC READY and SCPASS tests, help us make your child feel confident and comfortable by making sure your child goes to bed early, gets a good night’s sleep, eats a good breakfast, and arrives at school on time.

Thank you for your support!
