Community Project
For years, actually since the time I have been the principal of Tustumena, the Tustumena Site Council has suggested that it would be nice to have an informational road sign displayed near our school. The purpose would be to serve the community with real-time community service announcements as well as school information. For the last three years, the idea has been put forward during the Community Revenue Sharing meeting as the highest priority that the community would want, but the funding has never come through. This year, the Revenue Sharing funding was not even an option.
So, if it is a need of the community, I would like to organize the project. Step one is to verify that it is a desire of our community, so I have developed a short (three question) survey. Please take a minute to complete this survey as it will be used as a data point in determining if there will be a step two. I have included some examples just for the sake of explanation, I have no idea of what the actual design might be. That would be up to a sub-committee of the PTO/Site Council.
I will leave the survey open until February 2, 2018.
Thank you.
