Educational Excellence with an Environmental Emphasis

Thank you Stowe Community!

Families -

We can't thank you enough for your support and we enjoy working with your children every day!

The Happily Haunted Hike and the Halloween Parade are one of our favorite events of the year and they were such a blast! Please see information below for other exciting things are students have been up to.

October Peacemakers ...

Congratulations to our October Peace Makers!

Teachers nominate a student who demonstrates strong character and kindness as represented through this quote:

A Peace maker is someone who is sought to teach, to transform, to make friends, to heal, to defeat injustice, or to choose love over hate. --Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Ice Cream Store

Students had fun learning about math skills by running their very own ice cream store!

Hartley Nature Center - 4th Graders

The team from Hartley Nature Center came to Stowe to spend time with 4th graders and work on team building skills. They were able to spend time in our amazing school forest working together as a team on different challenges and listening skills.

PreK - Making Friends ...

Our wonderful PreK students read the book "Fox Makes Friends" and spent time outdoors last week! Better get out there soon before ... SNOW!

Veterans Day - November 11th

Thank you to all who turned in stars to help create our Veteran's Day wall. Students will be participating in an all-school assembly on November 11th to learn more about honoring all those who have served in the military.

PTA Meeting - November 14th @ 5:30 PM

Our PTA will be having a meeting on this date at Stowe! They will be discussing upcoming building events and fundraising opportunities. Please attend if you are able. We will have more information coming out soon on both the the Stowe and Stowe PTA Facebook pages.

Looking for officers to help with PTA. Some of the big events at our site cannot happen without the support of our amazing parents! The PTA helps to coordinate and support our Peacemaker assemblies, Bookfair, End of Year carnival, etc. If you are interested in helping with PTA please reach out to Karyn Pederson.

ISD 709 - Curriculum Survey

Our ISD 709 curriculum department would appreciate family input on their decisions for what books will be purchased next. Please take time to provide them feedback on this.
