Spring End-of-Course Test Information- The Cardington High School spring testing parent letter including testing information and testing schedule can be found at this link. Please follow this link for details on the state requirements for graduation. Students not taking the test on the date indicated will report on a 2-Hour Delay schedule.

Cardington FFA has been recognized in the National Chapter Program!
After an intense round of evaluations and state interviews, the Cardington FFA has been recognized in the National Chapter Program. This program recognizes chapters for their events and activities benefitting the three aspects of a Program of Activities: Building Communities, Strengthening Agriculture, and Growing Leaders. It measures how a chapter contributes to its members’ personal growth, to its community, and to the agriculture industry.
Every member of the Cardington FFA has embraced their programming this year and we couldn’t be more proud of the hours and effort that they have put into earning this recognition. This year has been smooth, positive, and uplifting and it is 100% contributed to their dedication and hard work.

Scheduling for 2023-24-
8th graders have already put in their requests for next school year and we will leave the requests available to change in PowerSchool until Friday, April 7th. At that time, all requests will be locked and we will create the master schedule. Any schedule changes will only be available in August during the specific class's schedule pick-up day and the first week of classes.
Scholarships-
The deadline for both the Dorothy Neal Fisher and Merle Fisher scholarships has been extended until April 3rd @ 5p. Information regarding those scholarships has been emailed to the class of 2023, as well as, added to their Google classroom. Additionally, the guidance office has copies on the scholarship board. Applications must be created and submitted through the Columbus Foundation's website and students will have to create an account.

The Cardington Local Scholarship packet (for Seniors only) is now available in the guidance office. There are other documents to include when submitting and the instructions for the scholarships, along with cover sheets and teacher recommendation requests are in guidance as well. The deadline to submit any and all applications is Monday, April 17th at 3p.

- The track team was off and running last week at the Seneca East invitational. They braved the cold and wind as the boys finished 7th and the girls finished 8th. The track team will host the Mike Armstrong Invitational this Saturday.
- Baseball and softball got their season started with a rainout Wednesday, but were able to kickoff the season by hosting Fredericktown Thursday night.
- The softball team was able to beat Fredericktown 4-2 while the baseball team fell 7-2 to the Freddies. Both teams will be on the road Saturday as baseball heads to North Union and softball will travel to Groveport Madison.

Mrs. Wells brought fly-fishing expert Paul Binkley into her Environmental Science class to teach students how to make fly-fishing flies!
