Greetings to the Britt Elementary School Community!
Spring has sprung, and fifteen days of instruction are remaining until Georgia Milestones Assessment begins. Targeted instruction based on data for all students must continue making the most of every instructional moment. Teachers of 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students, please make sure your students have used the Georgia Milestones Practice tools and modules. If you need assistance, please speak with Kimberly Singleton. Classworks literacy and math programs provide grade level skill practice that mirrors that of Georgia Milestones. Please assure that your students have had this opportunity to learn using Classworks. Rachel King provided staff development last week on HearBuilder, another valuable tool for our younger Britt Comets to use for strengthening their skills. These are only a few of the tools available for transforming and personalizing learning.
Tuesday's faculty meeting has been canceled. You may use this time for additional collaboration with your grade level.
Let me know how I can best support your good work at Britt Elementary School as we all strive together using effective, innovative practices to transform and personalize teaching and learning.
With warmest regards,
Britt Elementary School, going strong in 2016!
