Teacher Appreciation Week

We had so much fun celebrating our teachers! Thank you to Sparkman PTO for providing lunch and gift cards and to everyone who assisted with this week. We are thankful to have wonderful teachers at Sparkman High School!

MCBOE Recognizes Staff of The Crimson Crier, Named Top School Newspaper in Alabama

Sparkman High School's newspaper The Crimson Crier was named the top school newspaper in the state! The newspaper staff, along with their teacher Mrs. Erin Coggins, was recognized by the Madison County Board of Education for this outstanding accomplishment. Congratulations!

Girls Soccer Team Wins State Championship & Makes History

Congratulations to our 7A Girls Soccer STATE CHAMPIONS!! Our Lady Senators made history as the first MCSS soccer team to reach the AHSAA state finals and then the first MCSS soccer team to win a state championship! Jayda Davis Named MVP

Junior Jayda Davis was named 7A Playoff MVP! She scored both goals for the Lady Senators in the championship against Auburn. Congratulations, Jayda!

Softball Team Finishes Third in State

Our Lady Senators defeated Huntsville High 17-4 to win the Area Softball Championship and then went undefeated in the Regional Tournament, earning them a trip to the 7A State Championship Softball Tournament in Oxford. This strong team did very well in the state tournament and were just one win away from the championship game, finishing in third place! We are so proud of the way they competed throughout the season and playoffs. Way to go, Lady Senators!

Bobby Gray won two gold medals this year! He is the indoor and outdoor STATE CHAMPION in shot put! He was recognized last week by the Madison County Board of Education for his outstanding performance at the AHSAA Track & Field State Championships! Congratulations, Bobby!
