GMO's Are Necessary To Feed The World
World Hunger
Every minute of every day, our global family welcomes 255 babies into the world. That's 134 million new mouths to feed every year for a total population increase of 2.2 billion in the next thirty years.
GMO's Are The Answer To World Hunger
Farmers are looking for ways to have better harvests while using water and land more sustainably. GMO crops can help protect our resources and ultimately make a balanced meal more accessible everyone.
What are GMO's?
The process of making Genetically modified organisms takes a beneficial trait that helps a living things thrive in nature, like an ability to use water more sustainably, and adapts that trait to a new plant so it can better survive in its environment.
GMO Benefits
Data from several years of use of genetically modified crops in the Untied States has shown that the requirement for pesticides is reduced. Genetically modified crops may also permit higher yields of crops.
