The Squirrel and the Sloth

The Squirrel and the Sloth

Once upon a time there was a squirrel who challenged a sloth to a race knowing he would win. The race was running across four oak trees in the forest. Whoever reached the end of the fourth tree won? The race began, and the squirrel jumped out in an early lead, when the sloth was just taking his good old time. Then the squirrel jumped from the third tree to the fourth tree and slipped. The squirrel was hanging on the branch for dear life. The sloth was only on the third tree moving as fast as he could. Then he stretched from the third tree to the fourth tree, used his long arms to pick up the squirrel and won the race. The squirrel thanked the sloth for saving his life and apologized to the sloth for underestimating him.
