Things to Keep in Mind
- Be sure to only visit trusted sites.
- Never open an e-mail from a sender you do not recognize.
- Never give out personal information on the Internet. This includes your password.
- Tell an adult (parent or teacher) immediately if something makes you uncomfortable.
- Do not post someone else's work (picture, writing, etc) as your own.
- Remember to practice good netiquette. If you need a netiquette refresher, check out the Boston Public Library's website that is linked below!
Caution! Remember! Hault!
** Just because it is on the internet does NOT mean it is true!
** Always check the facts.
** Never spread information you know is not true. (Don't be a cyber bully!)
