What's New

  • There has been an administrative change in responsibilities. Ms. Brayboy will now serve as the administrator over 6th grade and Mr. Dunham will serve as the 8th grade administrator. Mr. Dunham will remain the 7th grade administrator.

  • Thank you to the district middle school benchmark team - Michelle Williams, Donyetta Blue, Melony Gore, Daniel Gallagher, and Mary Locklear!

  • If you are interested in participating in SCS Curriculum Week, please see or email Mr. Smith. Curriculum week will be held June 26-30. The purpose of Curriculum Week is to work on pacing guides and benchmarks for the following year. Teachers are needed in all subjects.

  • Our PBIS SET Review will be held on Tuesday, May 9 at 10:00. Please make sure that students know the PBIS matrix (R.O.A.R.) and that your emergency flip chart and fire escape map are posted.

4th Annual Bob Alexander Spring Literacy Symposium

The NC English Teachers Association invites all English Language Arts Teachers and all Literacy Teachers to join us for the 4th Annual Bob Alexander Spring Literacy Symposium. We will gather at East Forsyth High School in Kernersville, NC, on Saturday, April 29th from 8:30-3:30 for a day enhancing our professional knowledge and renewing our teaching spirit. Dr. Sally Griffin, Teaching Fellow with the UNC-Charlotte Writing Project and National Paideia Faculty Member will host our keynote address and Paideia Seminar.
