George Washington



George Washington was born on February 22, 1732, Westmoreland County, Virginia. George Washington was the commander in chief of the continental army during the American Revolutionary War. He helped the army win the battle. He was also one of the Founding Fathers of the United States. As a Founding Father he helped write the Constitution of the United States. George Washington became the very first president of the United States. His presidential term was from April 30, 1789- March 4, 1797. He sadly died December 14, 1799.
