Summary
An Indian boy named Junior is living on a reservation. He is trying to make something of his life instead of being like all the other kids there. He goes to a new school of the reservation to learn more, but he soon learns that it is hard being the only Indian boy at a school and having an old friend at home that hates him. Character Analysis
The main character of the book is Junior. He is an Indian boy who grew up with problems where he could not do the other things kids did when he was growing up. On the reservation him and his family live in poverty. He doesn't have many friends, and the ones that he has aren't really the nicest to him.
Theme
I think that the theme of this book is that you should always keep working for what you want.
Textual Evidence
The most important part of the book is when Juniors teacher tells him that he has to be something more than the others. This really touched Junior because he knew that it was true.
Book Review
I think that this book is only 3 stars out of 5. It wasn't really a bad book it is just that I did not personally like those kinds of book.
