Origins of the revolution
In 1751, a bell was ordered by the Pennsylvania Provincial Assembly to show their liberty, which became to be known as the Liberty Bell.
Patriots
"Committees of safety" was created by Patriot towns so Patriots could pass through other patriot controlled land freely.
Loyalists
Most Loyalists lived in New York.
Role of women
Although women could not serve as soldiers, some would go in as secret soldiers. They did this for purpose of money and to fight for their country.
Clothing of the Revolution
The most important clothing item was shoes since they were so difficult to keep up with. Furthermore, many soldiers would wear their shoes out and could not wear them, in turn, they had to march barefoot.
