The sentencing and death of Herman Göring
Herman Göring was sentenced to death by being hanged. The evidence that was shown to help determine this sentence was several witnesses, and some video clips. He asked to be shot as a soldier, instead if being hung like an average criminal. The court had refused his wish. So the night before his hanging he had committed suicide with a potassium cyanide capsule.
