EU Funding for Startups

The European Young Innovators Forum is coming to IE Business School for a talk on the SME-instrument of the Horizon 2020 programme which has 3 billion euros for SMEs. The talk will led by Kumardev Chatterjee who has evaluated proposals for the European Commission for a €20 Million grant portfolio in 2013-14. With the SME-instrument, StartUps can apply between 50 000 to 2,5 million euro grant. Register here

Only the best 5 teams in the Venture Lab will make it to IE Venture Day Madrid, IE Business School’s grand celebration of Entrepreneurship, to be held on May 5th. Next week they will have the chance to practice their pitches and get feedback before confronting the jury. This is a private session for students participating in IE’s Venture Lab Accelerator.

EU Funding Workshop
Date: March 25th
After the workshop at 4YFN in Barcelona, the European Young Innovators Forum is organising for the 2nd time a hands-on workshop in Madrid on EU funding for StartUps on 25th March. It will led by Kumardev Chatterjee who has been involved in the design and setting up of the Horizon 2020 SME instrument over the last three years and who as a European commission appointed independent expert. Google Startup Launch
On Wednesday March 11, took place the first edition of Google Startup Launch in collaboration with IE.
Google Startup Launch provides startups in all stages with the platform, resources, online content, mentorship and training they need to succeed. From first idea to successful implementation and growth, Google Developer’s mission is to help startups worldwide become successful on the Google Developers platform and open-source technologies.
