Welcome Back, ISTs!
2014-2015 School Year
Can't believe summer break is over!
The Services for Exceptional Children Department experienced some change this summer. We have hired 8 new Instructional Support Teachers, 2 new coordinators, and just recently said goodbye to two staff memebers. Dr. Shazzma Crooks is now an Assistant Principal at Banneker High School and Demetres Barthell is the SEC Program Specialist for the South Learning Community. (see below for updates)
With new staff members, we have fresh ideas and are planning ways to collaborate with and support all schools. We’ll see all of you soon—whether in your schools or at our first IST meeting of the year on August 21.
