Bear Tracks
December 9, 2016
A Note From the Principal:
Dear Bear Tavern Staff,
One of the traits that many successful people have in common is a tremendous amount of passion. It is passion that helps drive us to learn more, work harder and go the extra mile. It infuses pride into our work and it makes us love what we do.
But sometime we have to be aware of our passion. While passion is a huge part of being successful, it is also what can lead us to taking setbacks or disagreements personally and can cause us to focus on that one little thing that is not going as planned (rather than the 99 things that are). Every one of us can pinpoint the thing that we wish we had done better or the thing that we wish our students could do more of, etc.
As the stress of the holiday season rushes in, don't forget to take a deep breath, take a step back and to recognize all of the awesome things that we have going on. Remember that the kids are learning and growing and that we can work through setbacks or frustrations way better than we think. Let's enjoy the sprint to December 23rd and use our passions to allow us to enjoy the great things around us at Bear Tavern and in our lives!
Happy Friday.
Sincerely,
Chris
