Lost and Found
Please have your child check the lost and found for any lost items (jackets, water bottles, hats, etc). Parents are also welcome to check in at the front office to look in the lost and found. Unclaimed items will be donated on Wednesday, June 1st.
New Crosswalk!
Our Collins front entry drive has a new crosswalk! This will connect our parking lot directly to the front entry of the school.
Traffic in our drive should YIELD to pedestrians using the crosswalk.
Summer Reading
Summer reading is essential, and we want to encourage our students to read all summer. A great way to access books is through our public libraries.
The Garfield and Elroy Libraries (Del Valle Libraries) have wonderful literacy events prepared for our students and an amazing new selection of books for your child to check out and read! If you would like your student to receive a Del Valle Libraries library card from our school, please complete this form by May 26th, and our librarian, Ms. Amy, will get the library card to your child before the school year ends.
Our librarian, Ms. Amy, has compiled information about summer reading as well as how to access books over the summer. Check out her library website for more information!

Dismissal
Thank you to all our parents for adjusting to our new dismissal line up for car riders. We appreciate you lining up along Apogee Road as Finnial Road and Moonbeam Road (behind the school) remain closed.
Please make sure you have your student's car tag displayed in your dashboard at pickup. If you need an additional car tag, please visit our front office and present your ID to be issued a new one.
- If you are going to change how your child goes home, please communicate this with the front office by 2:00PM
- If you are going to pick your child up from school before dismissal, please pick them up no later than 2:30PM. To ensure the safety of our students and that everyone gets home, we will not pull students from classrooms after 2:30PM.
- Parents are prohibited from pulling a student off the bus at dismissal.
- Students will be released during the school day only to persons listed in Skyward.
