Spring Direct Donation Drive
Our direct donation drive is on NOW!
Envelopes and letters were sent home with students this past Monday for our Direct Donation Drive which runs through next Tuesday, May 14th. There are extra envelopes in the office if you need another!
During this drive, we hope to raise funds for:
- Online math programs such as Reflex Math (Cost $3,500)
- New supplies and decorations for the two classrooms being added for next year (Cost $1,250)
- After school club stipends to increase the number of clubs offered (cost $3,000)
TOTAL GOAL: $7,750
So far we have raised around $600 so there is still a long way to go!
Have family and friends who live far away but would love to help us meet our goal? No problem! Donations can be made through PayPal by clicking on the link here https://paypal.me/AdamsElementary?locale.x=en_US or searching the email address apt.adams@gmail.com
Thank you for your help and support of these causes!
Staff Appreciation Week
Adams will be celebrating our Teachers & Staff next week, May 13-17th, which is a week after National Teacher Appreciation Week to give us extra time to prepare and make sure we show our staff how truly appreciated they are!
We’re asking for volunteers to donate items towards a continental breakfast (Tuesday), snacks (Wednesday), and a potluck (Thursday). Visit the link below to see what’s needed and to volunteer.
Thank you so much for celebrating our teachers and the staff that do so much for our children!
In addition to the above, I’m sure teachers and staff would appreciate a personal expression of thanks through a thoughtful note, flowers, gift cards or something similar. Most staff completed surveys about what they like and appreciate most. It’s a great way to be sure you get something you know they’ll love! Email your room parent or Jenny Stickland at Jennifer.stickland@yahoo.com for a copy of their survey.
Carnival
It's Adams Carnival time and we need your help to make it a big success. The Adams Carnival is Friday, May 17th from 5:30-7:30 pm. Our carnival needs 150 volunteers to fill all the shifts. These include Set Up (moving tables, hanging signs, decorating booths etc), Running Carnival Games, Serving Food (Adult Volunteers only), Taking tickets (Adult Volunteers only) and Clean up. High school and Middle School siblings are welcome to sign up for Games or set up too! Please sign up for one or more shifts and join us in a fun Adams Family event! Thank you for your support!

Adams Wear Spring Swap at the Carnival
Have an Adams t-shirt, long sleeve shirt, or hoodie you’d like to donate or swap for a new size?
This is a great opportunity for anyone who would like to donate or swap out a gently used royal blue Adams shirt or hoodie for another gently used one at no cost (perhaps in a larger size for the next school year)! Please clean your shirts prior to donating or swapping. If you can’t make it to the Carnival on May 17th, we’ll have a donation/swap box available in the office through the remainder of the school year. Orders for new Adams Wear will be available again next fall. Questions? Contact ktfish12@gmail.com. See you at the Carnival!
Magnets and Cards Fundraiser
Order forms for magnets and cards were sent home with your child this week. It features a unique picture of one of your children’s artwork made during class with Mrs. Sanders. You can order as many magnets and cards of your child’s art piece as you want. Magnets make great gifts, and cards are wonderful for thank you notes.
If you would like to order some, please turn the form in by next Friday May 17.
Thank you for supporting APT!
Library Volunteers Needed
