Montgomery Bus Boycott
Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King Jr.
On December 1, 1955 Rosa Parks denied bus driver James Blake order to move toward the back of the bus. Her denial was found guilty in court and she was then arrested. She then joined Martin Luther King Jr. in creating the Montgomery city bus boycott.
