Cookies! Cookies! Cookies!
Although the council has graciously agreed to help troops out with leftover cookies, it is important that all troops continue to sell and/or solicit sponsored cookie boxes until March 31. If you are unable to do this, we ask that you contact Beth or Jodie so they can match you up with the leaders who are still selling. Also - please update the Cookie Exchange in ebudde so that others in the area can see what you have.
If you have boxes to donate, you will need to fill out a report of the number of boxes you have remaining and include pictures of the donated boxes WITH the person who took them (nursing home director, etc.) if at all possible.
If you need assistance with delivering cookies, Laura has volunteered to help! Just message her!
PLEASE HAVE ALL COOKIES ALLOTTED TO YOUR GIRLS AND REWARDS FILLED OUT BY Tuesday, March 31st. This will give Beth and Jodie to fix anything before the council deadline of Wednesday, April 1.
Council & SU Events
We will make announcements of any changes for future events/activities as we learn about them.
We will look at planning our Volunteer Appreciation Dinner over the summer or as soon as possible. We all will NEED to see each other!
GS Day Camp 2020
Cartoon Mania
M-F June 22 - 26
9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
McCormick's Creek State Park ~ Redbud Shelter
The only change at this point is that Julie will NOT be doing registration in person on April 5th. ALL registrations need to be mailed and include payment for each girl's spot to be held.
Specialty camps will fill, first come/first served. So get those registration packets filled out and get them mailed ASAP.
SERVICE PROJECT for Day Camp:
We will be donating PLASTIC BOTTLE CAPS to the Human Society for a buddy bench. Give people a great place (with lots of love) to sit outside and play with the dogs. Please have your daughter bring them to camp OR drop them off at the scout office (once it opens).

Troop Meetings
You are encouraged to meet virtually if possible! If you need help with this, please contact any of us to help!
If you cannot meet virtually, please consider reaching out to talk or video chat with each of your girls in your troop every 2 weeks. Our troops become family and more so than ever, we need to keep that connection with our girls.
Virtual Meeting Resources
We are also making some badge BLUEPRINTS that can be shared with our girls while they are home. Click here to find this resource in our shared drive file.
If you are interested in helping make more BLUEPRINTS, please contact Jill Ferguson at JillFergusonGS@gmail.com
Another idea is to put together kits of supplies for your girls to work on. You could offer to 'porch-drop' them or have the girls' parents swing by to get them from your porch.
Volunteer Recognition
Volunteer Recognition was postponed and will now be held on June 20th at the Indianapolis office.
The Service Team conference will also be on June 20th with those who are receiving an award invited to attend the lunch portion of the conference.
We will try to schedule a celebration as soon as things get back to normal for all of our amazing volunteers.
From Council!
We are working hard to update all of our troop meeting information - this includes the address of your meeting place, as well as times and frequency. Please login to your member community to confirm the details we have are correct - and for help updating this information, please contact our help desk!
If you’re missing a girl on your roster, or in ebudde, please contact us and we can help you! We are here to help answer cookie questions - including missing girls, digital cookie emails that haven’t been received, resetting passwords, and more!
New on the GSCI website, LIVE CHAT!
This feature is currently available 8:30 am –5:30 pm Monday – Friday. Customer Care is lonely right now and would love to hear from you.
