Massacre at Tops Supermarket, Buffalo NY
On Saturday May 14th, a gunman killed 10 people and wounded three more in a massacre at a Buffalo, NY supermarket. Of the thirteen people shot, eleven were Black. The shooter, who was taken into custody at the scene, is an 18 year-old white male. The FBI is investigating the shooting as a “racially motivated hate crime.”
The murder of these innocent victims, in an act of racist violence, is horrific. As a school community, we stand in solidarity with our BIPOC students, our FHS school community and the great City of Framingham in denouncing this racially motivated massacre. We grieve with the families of the victims and the entire Buffalo community as they mourn this senseless, tragic, and brutal act of racist violence.

Finished with your test-prep books or College Guides? Save a tree and gain some space on your bookshelf by donating them to the FHS Library.
The FHS Library will gladly take your gently-used practice books for SATs, ACTs, AP exams, ASVAB exams, and drivers' tests; as well as college guides like Fiske's and Princeton Review. Then the Library will pay it forward and give them away to any students who need them next year. Just bring them to the Library front desk or drop them in the book return bin. Thank you!
