Juniors & Seniors,
Special Note about Attendance
I know it is not always easy to show up every day, but it is necessary to learn what you need to learn. Also, overcoming challenges will strengthen you as a person.
How do you view a problem?
Here's another video that discusses coping with challenging situations:
Shift- change your perspective (find a positive)
Persist- believe you have an impact (help someone else)
Remember, avoiding the problem just prolongs the amount of time you have to deal with it!

Reminders for Seniors:
-If you are not going to complete the FAFSA, I need the signed waiver turned in to me.
-You should be applying to colleges (if that's your goal).
-Kuder Navigator is available to help you find a career and/or college! Email me if you do not remember how to log in to this. Myself and your teachers also enjoy helping you figure these things out, so don't be afraid to start a conversation!
-I'm still currently having to send paper transcripts to colleges through the Postal Service, so monitor your application and make sure they receive the transcript! If it has been over two weeks since your transcript was sent and they still say they haven't received it, please let me know and I will resend another copy just in case it got lost in the mail!
-If you are needing teacher recommendations, be sure to ask them early so they have plenty of time to create a well-written and thoughtful letter. Also, be sure to give them a resume listing the activities you have participated in (with number of years) and awards you've received.
