Camp Kic-A-Wah
I met with the directors of Camp Kic-A-Wah to see how we can work together to best serve our students from the Reservation. When we return from break, we will meet with those of you who have students that attend the camp to plan how to best communicate to them how they can help our students. They want to provide specific help with homework and implement the strategies that you use in class. We are also arranging for district specialists to work with them so that the instruction is seamless from Lesslie to Camp. More details to come!
A Day of Hope
Chris Hope, former Rock Hill Bearcat, Florida State Seminole, and professional football player, sponsors a “Day of Hope” for chosen students in our community and schools. He will provide dinner for 12 of our students at the Chick-Fil-A on Dave Lyle Blvd. on December 21st at 4 PM. After dinner and photographs, Chris will treat our students to a Wal-Mart holiday shopping spree! Letters were sent home Friday. Please drop by if you can to witness this generous event!
Safety Videos-There are some due in December. Please make sure yours are up-to-date.
Shout Outs-Please feel free to put them up on the board outside the cafe. At the end of the month, we'll have a drawing of the names!
Morning procedures for 1st and 2nd Grades
Ms. Osborne is getting new tile in her room this week, so 1st and 2nd Graders will be in the Media Center in the mornings.
We have grant money to pay you ($21/hour) to tutor our identified low performing students before and after school. Please let me know if you are interested.
Elementary PD Day on January 4, 2019. Classroom assistants will be working at Lesslie that day.
