A Note from Mrs. Hibler....
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank a few teachers who will not be returning in the Fall.
Mr. George has accepted a position at Lake Ridge Academy. Alan has been a pleasure to work with over the past four years, and we will miss the unique gifts and talents he brought to the school. He was always such a good sport about things like wearing a Buddy the Elf costume, or getting a pie in the face! You have a bright future ahead of you, and we look forward to watching you grow professionally. Please know that our door is always open.
Mrs. Huck enjoyed being part-time so much; she has decided to retire full-time! For 19 years, we have counted on her to bring out the artistic ability of our students. She was an inspiration for so many students, and we were blessed to be her creative outlet all these years. Whether dressing the halls for the Winter art show, or overseeing the painting of a drama set, there was always a vision, and you could count on the end product to be spectacular. Enjoy this new chapter of your life and visit us often! The rumor around the school is that volunteers are always welcome in Art!
Mrs. Primm is not leaving but, will be working part-time, teaching Spanish and English-Language Arts. This new schedule will allow her to spend more time with her grandchildren; soon, there will be three! She will be here daily, in the mornings to teach her classes.
Once the new staff members are on board, we will send out a message informing you of the changes. In the meantime, please keep these three staff members in your prayers that God will continue to bless each of them on their new journey.
Have a great summer.
Many blessings,
Mrs. Molly Hibler
Fun, but no field!
St. Jude community,
Thank you ALL so very much!! Yes, Wednesday would not have been a success without all of you!! It didn't go as planned, but with last-minute adjustments, all thanks to parent volunteers, it turned out better than expected!! This Field Day is one that I will remember forever!!
I am so grateful for the tremendous support from former students, volunteer parents, PTO, the staff, and especially the students for Field Day!! Field Day was only a success thanks to all of you!!
Having former St. Jude students coming back to help with Field Day is always a treat to see familiar faces! All of you helped to make the day run smoothly! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!
I can't thank enough, or praise enough, to the volunteer parents and PTO!! All of you stepped up, helped with Plan B, and took the reigns on it! I couldn't have asked for any better support than the parents! PTO, with your support and trust in me, leaves me speechless! STUDENTS LOVED the trophies, and when they saw them, they remained motivated to win! THANK YOU!!
The staff, with your patience, trust, and overall support makes everything so much easier for me!! You all have been incredible these past four years, especially during Field Day!! I have learned so much from you! Thanks to you all, you've made me into the man and teacher that I am today!! Thank you all!!
To my students, you're all AMAZING!!! Your joy, excitement, energy, smiles, and interactions that I encountered every day made my four years fly!! Like I said yesterday, you all rocked it at Field Day!! I couldn't ask for a better student body! It was an absolute honor and blessing to be your teacher for the last four years!! Each of you holds a special place in my heart!! I love all of you so much!!
Forever your gym teacher and St. Jude member,
Mr. Alan George

To all 6th grade parents see note below
Beginning with the 2016-2017 school year, the Ohio Department of Health School Immunization Requirements have been revised to include one dose of Meningococcal (MCV4) vaccine to be administered before a student enters the seventh grade. Therefore, your current sixth grader will need to show proof of having received the Meningococcal (MCV4) vaccine before they can return to school in the fall.
Your child also requires a dose of Tdap to be administered before a student enters the seventh grade. This dose is intended to be administered as a booster dose for students who have completed the required doses of the initial series of DTaP/DT/Td. Therefore, your current sixth grader will need to show proof of having received this booster dose before they can return to school in the fall.
If your child received one dose of Tdap as part of the original series, another dose of Tdap will not be required. The Tdap can be given regardless of the interval since the last tetanus or diptheria-toxoid containing vaccine.
You are receiving this letter now to provide you with ample time to have your child immunized before the coming school year begins. Please contact your physician or health department to schedule an appointment.
Fall Sports Registration now open!
Registration for Fall Sports is now open. Even though school isn't even out for this year, it already time to start planning for sports in the fall. The registration window runs from today through June 15. With early registration, we are better able to plan for the number of teams we will have in each grade level. Can you please register ASAP for whichever sport your children are participating?

Junior high students- these hours can count across multiple quarters since the students are there so much. Mrs. Craig will sign sheets each day, so the students are expected to keep track of their own sheets for next school year. We are not responsible for keeping track or lost service hour sheets.
