Senior Update
Counselors visited seniors during activity block on September 25th. If you missed our presentation, it can be viewed by clicking HERE. We had over 175 parents of seniors attend our Nuts and Bolts of College Admissions presentation on September 25th. If you missed our presentation, it can be viewed by clicking HERE.
Our activity block presentations that were held on October 2nd were a success! Seniors were able to attend presentations around topics including:
- College Essay Writing Workshop
- Understanding the Common Application
- Letters of recommendation
- Naviance: College Search and Scattergrams
- Paying for College
- Community College and the Military
Seniors: Please remember to schedule a meeting with your school counselor prior to October 15th if you are applying early action or early decision to any college. Also, don't forget to register for the college rep visits here at WRHS through Naviance. This is a phenomenal way for you to meet admissions reps who are making the decisions about your applications. It is also a great way to learn more information about a particular college. These are generally small group sessions of about 2-15 students. See your counselor for more info!
