BEAR TRACKS
November 7, 2021 • Updates from Roosevelt Elementary
Families, we are LISTENING! Click to take our QUICK School Improvement Survey. The survey will take only 1-2 minutes per child (MUCH shorter than past years!).
We want to keep improving Roosevelt and our school district, and we need to understand your experience about the job we're doing. Are we providing a quality education for your children? How can we keep getting better? Thank you!
- For a free replacement photo retake package, please send your child's photo package from the Sept. 30 picture day back to school on retake day.
- For a new photo package order, please pick up a photo order form from the office.
- Please call 573-1700 if you have any questions.
When I work with Mrs. Crosier, I see her love for her 3rd-graders. This love stands out in all that she does. Mrs. Crosier's sense of humor and calm demeanor make her easy to work with. I sometimes wonder if she ever gets mad or yells. She is just so calm all the time! Mrs. Crosier works hard to meet the individual needs of all of her students.
Thanks Mrs. Crosier for demonstrating the Spirit of the Bear with your 3rd graders and with our entire Roosevelt community.
This week, your child starts a NEW UNIT from Second Step® Elementary, a research-based social-emotional learning program that builds children’s social-emotional skills.
In this new unit, your child is learning to manage his/her emotions. He/she will learn how to name emotions, identify their own and others’ emotions, and recognize the importance of managing emotions.
Check out this chart to learn more about this week's Second Step lesson, PLUS a skill that you can try at home!
