"Building the Reign of God, One Child at a Time"
Dear Parents and/or Guardians,
To all of you who are new to our school community, a warm WELCOME! To all of our established families, it’s great to see you back. We are looking forward to another great year of learning and working together. This is an exciting time in your child’s life. We are very eager to begin a new school year and look forward to a motivating, inspiring, and faith-filled one! Our Division theme this year is ‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart’, a very fitting theme for this year… a year of uncertainty and new experiences.
Since our last newsletter, we have had some changes in staffing. We wish Mrs. Laurel Zuk-Dach and Mrs. Wendy Schumacher a wonderful retirement. Mrs. Laura Stuckart is expecting a new addition to her family and will be taking the year to care for her family. Mr. Stevens, Mrs. Naherny, Ms. Erickson, and Mrs. Frere, Mrs. Hay, Miss Gill, and Mrs Pickett have all chosen to pursue opportunities at other schools. We thank them for their dedication at our school and wish them the best of luck. We are excited to introduce Mr. Rob Blais, our new Athletic Director, Middle School PE and Math teacher, Mr. Spencer Klassen, our new Middle School Math / Science teacher, Mrs. Melissa Skinner, who will be teaching mainly in our grade 7 classroom, Ms. Lillian Macpherson, who will be teaching in our grade one classroom, Mrs. Tasha Truckle, who will in our Kindergarten classroom, Mrs. Brianna Bjerke, who is teaching in our pre-K classroom, as well as Middle School, and Mrs. Angie Weddell who is an educational assistant. We wish all of them a very blessed and enjoyable year as part of our St. Marguerite Bourgeoys School community.
Please look for your monthly newsletter with important information about our school on our website! Each newsletter will be posted as close as possible to the beginning of each new month. Please also ensure your child removes and shares with you all important communication from their backpacks each day.
Both Mr. David Griffin and I believe it is an honor and privilege to be able to serve the community of St. Marguerite Bourgeoys School and we look forward to a great year. Once again, welcome to another year of learning. May all the blessings of Christ fill your homes!
God Bless,
