HAPPY MONDAY TO YOU!!!

5 Quick Facts About a Colleague!

Deb McDonald-Learning Commons Para

1. I have been married to my husband, Bill, for 33 ½ years. We’ve been together for 36!

2. I have 3 grown children: Megan, 27; Brenna, 24; and Chris, 21; and one granddaughter, Caitlynn, who just turned 4.

3. When I’m not here I love to cook, read, go to concerts, and take long road trips with my husband.

4. My family moved around a lot when I was younger. I’ve lived in Indiana (where I was born), Minnesota (the same city twice), Wisconsin (3 times in 3 different cities), and Michigan (for one year in 5th grade). I went to 7 different schools between kindergarten and high school graduation, including moving to a new state for my senior year.

5. I once got to steer a dinner cruise boat around the San Diego harbor, while a cruise was in progress. We passed right by 2 aircraft carriers!

I nominate Cara McHaffie to go next :)

Behavior

FHN has seen a slight decrease in overall infractions as of the end of November compared to last year at this time (550 compared to 524).

Climate

We held our 3rd Coffee With the Principal on Friday, December 4th. Parents had some great suggestions to help increase student attachment at FHN. They are incredibly supportive and have great ideas! We will be working to implement some of these ideas in the next semester.
