During story time this week 3rd grade will be finishing Queen of the Falls, 2nd grade will be reading Skippyjon Jones Lost in Spice, 1st grade will be reading The Cat, the Dog, Little Red, the Exploding Eggs, the Wolf, and Grandma, Kindergarten will be reading Sam and Dave Dig a Hole.
On Friday, April 24 we will see the following classes.
3rd Grade - Fox/Burch - The students will finish presenting the information they found in their Dewey Decimal section of the library.
2nd Grade - Larson/Mick - We will begin a fairy tale unit. We will be identifying our good characters and evil characters and will explain what the conflict is beween them.
1st Grade - Lange/Brown - 1st Grade Field Trip
Kindergarten - Shannon/Thatcher - Kindergarten Screening

This week we will see our Tuesday classes (Wuthrich/Williams and Edwards) and our Thursday classes (Pfizenmaier/Deines).
The 4th grade will continue to work on research skills and summarizing. We will also begin to find the information in books that will help us cite our sources.
The 5th grade will continue to work on their book talks. They are going to pick one book that they think the new 4th graders coming in next fall should read.

CCCMS
The library will be open each day this week as long as we have a sub. If we have a sub they will be here on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday times may vary but the library should be open during the school day from at least 8:30 to 3:30.
Lynn will be in the library on Monday but she will have a sub on Wednesday.
During 8th hours on the following days, Monday (Mrs. Blake), Tuesday (Mrs. Weller), Wednesday, (Mrs. Yenni), and Thursday (Mr. Rickley) the 6th grade language arts classes will be in the library for checkout.
