Nuclear Fusion

Energy Source Discovery

My name is Sarah Fahey and I am a scientist at ENRG Incorporated. As of today, our laboratory in Charlotte, North Carolina has harnessed the ability to use Nuclear Fusion as an energy source. Nuclear fusion is a reaction in which two or more nuclei collide at a very high speed and join to form a new nucleus. This produces energy in the form of photons. This is almost the opposite of nuclear fission, in which the nucleus of an atom splits into smaller parts.

What Will Nuclear Fusion Bring Us?

Although there are many safety concerns when dealing with nuclear fusion, the benefits it will bring us are incredible. A meltdown is not possible, however direct safety of the reactor is very important. If this can be done properly, it will be a great impact to the economy due to its low fuel cost. It has the potential to be the number one energy source in the world, meaning everybody will be provided with cheap, clean energy!
