Mt. SAC VRC Weekly Update
July 13th - July 17th
Veteran Students Win Scholarships at College's Scholarship Ceremony
Each year, Mt. SAC honors hundreds of students who have been selected through a competitive process to receive campus-based scholarships at the annual Scholarship Awards Ceremony.
This year twenty-three student Veterans were selected as award winners and collectively will receive over $30,000 in scholarship funds for the 2020-2021 academic year. VRC students received awards that ranged from $500-$2,000, an award certificate, and lapel pin, as well as "Mt. SAC Scholar" swag for their achievements. The awards are sponsored by donors to the Mt. SAC Foundation and the Associated Students.
The Scholarship Program Office, Mt. SAC Foundation, and the Broadcast Services Department created a virtual ceremony to honor these extraordinary students. Please find the list of Veteran winners below as well as a link to this year's ceremony.
