It was a great first week!
Need to Know Info...
Open House Parent Nights: We will hold in-person parent open house meetings over the next 2 weeks. In order to limit our crowd, we ask that children do not attend, and that only one parent attend for each student/family. At these meetings, teachers will review important information about the school year, classroom expectations, and procedures. We hope to see you there!

Arrival: Arrival has gone smoothly for a first week. Our kiddos become more independent each day. We are asking that car riders be dropped off on the east side of the building, rather than the front of the building. The exception is for families who are dropping off Webo students who need to catch a bus or who need to get back on 75 to take students out to Webo. If we can limit our traffic out front to families with Jr/Sr High students, it will do much to keep the congestion away from our walkers and bike riders. To keep the car rider line moving, please prompt your children to be ready to exit the car when you pull up along our sidewalk. We need students to be released as soon as you are able to pull up to the sidewalk along the east wall. This will keep the line moving for parents who need to get to work and students who need to get to class. Thanks for your help with this procedure.
Dismissal: We will start dismissal at 2:40 each day. Car riders and bus riders are dismissed first and walkers are held until most of the traffic has cleared the area. If your child is a car rider, please line up along Market Street. This line gets rather long, sometimes extending across 47 downtown. I promise you the line moves fast once we begin at 2:40. We are typically done loading car riders by 2:55 each day. If you come closer to that time, you won't be waiting in line. We ask that you start at the end of the line each day and not cut in from side roads. Please communicate this to anyone who might be picking up your student from school. To help this line move more quickly and to ensure we are pairing students up in the correct vehicles, please keep window tag in your car with the names of the students you pick up. We will see the sign and call them to the sidewalk as you approach. Thanks for your help to make this a smooth and safe process.
Bus Transportation: Always communicate with Lisa Pearson, at the transportation department, if you move or need to make changes to your transportation plan. We are not able to put a student on a bus who does not have a bus assignment through our transportation system. If dismissal changes come up during a school day, please be sure to call our office so the classroom teacher can be notified of the change for that day.
