High school students must have a current parking permit to be able to park in campus parking lots. 2023-2024 High School Parking Permits can be requested through Skyward Family Access. Complete the form in Skyward and ensure payment has been submitted for both the Parking Permit and the Student Activity Fee (links for payment are included in the form). Once submitted, you will receive a confirmation email.
To complete the form, you will need:
- Year, Make/Model, Color, and License Plate of the vehicle that will be driven by the student and parked on campus.
- Student license and insurance
If the student has an additional vehicle, you will need the same information for that vehicle as well. Only ONE parking permit sticker will be provided for each paid permit.
Vapes/E-Cigarettes Law Change
Dear Eagle Families,
We hope this message finds you well and excited for the 2023-2024 school year. We wanted to bring to your attention a significant change in the state law that might affect your child, and we believe collaboration and awareness are essential during this transition.
LEGISLATIVE CHANGE IN LAW REGARDING VAPES/E-CIGARETTES
At the recent July 24 Board of Trustees meeting, the 2023-2024 Student Code of Conduct was approved, incorporating a new law from the 88th Texas Legislature. The law in question is House Bill 114, passed and signed by Governor Greg Abbott on June 13. This law mandates that any student caught with a vape on school premises MUST be placed into a disciplinary alternative education program (DAEP).
We understand this is a significant departure from the consequences students faced in previous school years. It's essential to be aware that possession of a vape on a Prosper ISD campus or property will now lead to a DAEP placement, which could impact a student's participation in extracurricular and co-curricular activities.
What can you do as a parent?
As parents, you play a crucial role in helping your child understand the seriousness of this change. We know that vapes are accessible to students, and they may obtain them from peers or online. For this reason, discussing the potential consequences of possessing a vape on school grounds with your child would be beneficial. It's essential to remember that even well-behaved students can make mistakes, and guidance from parents is invaluable in helping them make the right choices.
Rest assured, we will inform you if there are any additional changes related to this law. We aim to create a safe and healthy environment for all students, and collaboration between families and campus administrators is the key to achieving this.
Thank you for your attention to this critical matter, and we look forward to working together for a successful and positive school year!

How to Check Your Student Out of School
All check-outs must be submitted through Skyward WITH AT LEAST 2 HOURS NOTICE prior to a student being picked up or released. When submitting a partial-day request, you must uncheck the all-day box and enter the time the student needs to leave the school. Partial-day requests entered as full days will automatically be denied. If we do not receive your request at least 2 hours prior to your students' check-out time or if the request is entered in Skyward after 2:00 p.m., it will be denied, and a parent, guardian, or emergency contact will need to come into the front office to check the student out of school. When doing so, a government-issued I.D. must be provided. Please follow the instructions on the following link: https://www.prosper-isd.net/Domain/1034
