Parents are always invited, but not required to attend if they have other obligations.
Juniors:
Mr. Irvin, the assistant principal, sent an email to parents of all 3rd-year students regarding testing. All 3rd-year students can choose to take either the SAT, the ACT, or opt-out of taking either. Please have your student respond to the complete link in his email. Students also received an email to select one SAT, ACT, or opt-out.
All 3rd-year students should choose one of three options:
- I would like to take the ACT
- I would like to take the SAT
- I do not wish to take either the ACT or the SAT
Below is a link to a survey that will explain the tests and options in more detail. If you are not sure which option to take, please see your counselor, but again, every student must choose one of the three options. The student will need to log in to take the survey; only one survey per student can be completed.
