Lancer Update

Week of June 18th, 2021

The Tassel is Worth the Hassle...

This is it Lancers! Well at least for the 2020-2021 school year. You are all rock stars for how you persevered through this unique, and let's admit it, stressful year. It is almost at its end and you all deserve a break.

This newsletter will focus mostly on those who are graduating in a couple weeks, but there are some useful links at the bottom that could be handy for all of you!

There will be future communication with regards to next year's timetables. We are making some final adjustments before we get the first ones out to students.

If you are a graduate or a guardian of a graduate, and have not yet done so, please complete this 'grad card' as well so we can celebrate you... please consider sharing photos as well!

Mini Ceremonies

As per provincial government and public health regulations, this year's graduation 'mini ceremonies' have to take place outside.

Students have been asked to select a time on either June 23rd or 24th, 2021 for their graduation. The link to the booking form is at the top of the newsletter and at

How the day(s) will look:

-Students are permitted to bring up to two guests with them

- Students and guests must remain masked

- Students and guest will have to do a Covid screening and sign-in

-Student and guests are asked to show up no earlier than 5 minutes prior to their time slot

-Students and guests should walk or drive into the south parking lot, there will be signs and staff to direct you

-Students will sign in, get capped and gowned outside of the library

- Students will then proceed to the doors outside the cafeteria where they will be presented with their diplomas and/or certificates

-Students and guests will then have the opportunity to take some pictures before they return their gown

-During your visit, we ask that you remain masked and physically distant from other students and community members
