Monday was a good night for both of our C teams as they took on the Worley Tigers at Lake Ridge.
7th graders started the night with a solid effort and won the game 14-0
8th grade followed that with the same type of performance to win 21-12
Last night our 7th A & B traveled to Mansfield High to play Worley. The B team was locked in a defensive struggle and came up short in a 6-0 loss.
The A team came out and thrashed Worley in a dominating 42-9 victory.
At Newsom Stadium it was a tough night for both 8th-grade teams as they suffered 26-14 loss on the B team and a 14-0 loss for the A team.
Thanks to all the faculty and families that came out to support.

Arrival and Dismissal at DJMS
- Students are to be dropped off in front of the building for arrival. The building opens at 8:10 each day. If arriving for a sport, follow the coaches directions for arrival.
- Students are to be picked up on the side or in front of the school. This is the Broad St. side or the Day Miar side of the school.
- Follow the flow of traffic through the parking lot
- Students walking home or being picked up by their parents will leave the building from the front. Students are not to leave the building from side or back exit areas.
- Keep the circle drive clear for our designated cars and buses for that area.
- Keep the area in front of the dumpsters clear. This is a no parking or standing zone.
- The bus lane is in the back of the building near the football field. This is for buses only.
- If driving in the back, be mindful that students are crossing to the field for practice before and after school.
