Grace Emeaba Scholar of the Day
Taking Care of Business
Every Moment Leads to Business
Connecting how to win a goal in soccer and how to make a point in basketball is just part of the game. A part that Grace has successfully done as a sports player and acquiring as an entrepreneur. Grace's resilience, shown when working with teammates, connecting strategic thinking, strong communication, the willingness to learn, and the courage to take the risk, are those skills that only an ambitious and successful business mind could do.
Grace can take a business idea and bridge it into greatness. Making it possible for start-up companies to think in a creative way to look beyond the bottom line of making a profit, but streamlining products to help meet the needs of the people giving the idea to look beyond profit to purpose! Giving the famous quote: "no matter what people tell you; words and ideas can change the world, " true meaning.
Inspire the young, give them encouragement, and aspire to be great are a few words that come to mind when Grace is around. Her spirit can help move a generation forward, which she has shown as a mentor within L.E.E.P To College Foundation. Countless Saturdays tutoring students in reading and math, or just providing words of encouragement went beyond just community service but meeting the needs of the community serving with grace.
College is the next bridge after completing her senior year. She looks forward to new beginnings at Prince George's Community College and continuing to earn her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Towson University. We celebrate you Grace today and all the days ahead as our right now leader.
