CALENDAR

  • Tuesday, May 28th, 7:00 pm: Choir Concert – Forum
  • Wednesday, May 29th 7:00 pm: Orchestra Concert – Forum
  • Thursday, May 30th 7:00 pm: Band Concert - Forum
  • Tuesday, June 4th at 2:45 pm: Senior Meeting - Forum
  • Friday, June 7th: All Library Books Due - Before 3:30pm or there will be fines
  • Monday, June 10th - Wednesday, June 13th: Senior Finals
  • Monday, June 10th at 10:00 am: Character Awards Assembly - Gym
  • Monday, June 10th at 6:30 pm: Graduation Celebration Tea – Commons
  • Tuesday, June 11th - Wednesday, June 12th: Laptop Check-in after finals are completed. See below for details
  • Tuesday, June 11th - Tickets available after Senior Clearance is done (forms distributed in 2nd period or in Counseling Office)
  • Thursday, June 13th: Textbooks due - Before 3:30pm or there will be fines. You can turn in as soon as you have completed your final exam or finished your last assignment.
  • Thursday, June 13th: Last Day of School for Seniors
  • Friday, June 14th at 1:00 pm: Senior Snack & Video – Commons
  • Friday, June 14th at 1:30 pm: Rehearsal – Forum/Gym
  • Friday, June 14th at 3:30 pm: Free Grad Party - Parking Lot
  • Friday, June 14th: ALL FINES MUST BE PAID – to Ms. Flaherty in the ASB Office or diplomas and transcripts will NOT be sent to Colleges. ASB Office hours are 7:30am to 3:30pm. If you have a fine for materials or equipment, used, damaged or lost class or library books, you must take care of this BEFORE 3:30pm. If you do not clear fines, you will NOT be given a diploma and transcripts will be held.
  • Saturday, June 15th, 11:00 am: COMMENCEMENT – SqHS Seniors meet at 10am dressed and ready to go in caps and gowns. (Meeting place TBD)
  • 17 June – 21 June: Pick up diplomas from Mrs. Vasser: 7:30 am - 3:00 pm in the main office

Device Check-In for Students

Devices MUST be returned (with all components) to the library either Tuesday or Wednesday after finals are complete.


Senior Students:

  1. Associated fine costs for each component (you can contest the fines with an administrator).
    1. $28.50 Stylus (missing or damaged)
    2. $30.00 Charger (missing or damaged)
    3. $15.00 Bag /Case (missing or damaged)
  2. All stickers have to be removed from the device prior to collection or will result in a fine.
  3. All chargers need to be wrapped up unless it is damaged.
  4. Students can bring in missing components on Thursday morning to the library.

Graduation Rehearsal

We will hold graduation rehearsal on June 14th at 1:30 p.m. in the Forum/Gym. This will take us approximately two hours and we will do our best to make it a smooth process.

Your attendance at graduation practice is required in order for you to be prepared for the graduation ceremony.

  • We will practice walking to our seats and we will run through the format for graduation, including name reading.

Grad Celebration (After Rehearsal)

PTSA is sponsoring a party in the parking lot with Food Trucks, games and a hypnotist. It follows the Graduation Rehearsal.


All Seniors are invited! It is FREE to attend.

Graduation Ceremony

The big day! Here are a few details for graduates and their families to help plan the day.

  • Graduates:
    • Professional photographer will be in the Lower Houses at 9:30 a.m. if students want to have photos (for purchase) done.
    • Graduates to SqHS by 10:00 a.m.
      • Parking will be a challenge, especially by 9:45 a.m., get to SqHS earlier than 9:45 a.m.
    • When you get to school, meet in Bay or Mountain (based on Pod Numbers - given at Rehearsal)
    • Caps should be worn straight, with deep point behind, front point well down past the center of the forehead, tassel on the front right.
    • Dress appropriately, this is a formal ceremony.
    • SqHS Graduation Policy is that students are not allowed to decorate caps.
    • Thank you for not bringing items to shoot, squirt, or throw, etc...
    • After the ceremony (by 2 p.m.), graduates will report for mandatory gown returns and diploma distribution:
    • A-G: Lower Bay House
    • H-O: Lower Sky House
    • P-Z: Lower Mountain House
  • Families/Friends
    • 2 Tickets for Forum and 6 Tickets for Gym
    • 2 Parking Passes
    • SqHS Graduation Policy is that there are no blow horns, balloons, etc... inside the Gym/Forum.
    • Please park in a designated parking spot and be nice to the parking attendants. Parking is limited, carpool if you can.
